Hi, I have a star fruit tree I grew from a seed and it’s about 18 inches tall and it’s slowly dying from the bottom up. The leaves yellow one drop from inward out follow by the branch. Then is goes up to the next level and slowly starts the same process. The shoot at the top keeps sending out new branches but it’s not fast enough for the impending death. Any thoughts

Thanks for the kind words on my photos. I wanted to add that the plants “pinned to the wall” in the exhibit by Moda Botanica are actually fastened to colored or clear Plexiglas panels on sliding tracks. Visitors can turn the wheels and move the panels to design their own Hawaiian shirt patterns.

This is just ONE beautiful thing I miss about my visit on Kauai. Just wish we could grow like that in Illinois…:(
